Crypto world should look out for Berachain as it plans to create the biggest tokens airdrop with its BERA tokens. When Berachain’s mainnet launches officially on February 6, 2025, this airdrop will take place worth $632 million. And one of the greatest airdrops in the crypto space will involve the distribution of 79 million BERA tokens to the qualified users in the network.
Berachain is a blockchain project aimed for Ethereum to the same functionality but with a custom spin. The blockchain utilizes the Proof-of-Liquidity (PoL) consensus mechanism that trades liquidity (how easily assets can be bought or sold) to cryptocurrency to create a network that is faster and more secure. BERA will be used as the gas token for transaction and used as a staking token to help secure the network.
Both the stakeholders and different people who supported Berachain will be eligible to take part in this airdrop. A significantly large quantity of the tokens will be for specific NFT holders such as Bong Bears, and other relevant collections of related NFTs. Starting February 6, these users will be able to claim their tokens. Besides that, over 8 million BERA tokens will be distributed to the users that participated in the public testnets of Berachain, namely Artio and bArtio to test the network’s performance.
Along with this, social media supporters and the people who were involved in rallying around resources in Berachain receive some extra reward. Furthermore, 10 million BERA tokens will be airdropped to those who participated in the BNB to Simple Earn program by Binance.
After that, the BERA token will be listed on exchanges such as MEXC and Binance, where users will be able to trade their tokens. This airdrop is truly an exciting step of Berachain, and it is the start of its official launch, as it grows its ecosystem and thanks the early supporters.
