For the longest time now, Bitcoin has been one of the most talked about investments in the world. Others see it as a risky bet, yet some think that it will reshape the future of money. Billionaire investor Raoul Pal, who is one of the biggest Bitcoin supporters, has made a bold prediction that Bitcoin could reach $500,000 by the end of 2025! But how realistic is that? Let’s look at it.
Why is Raoul Pal so Optimistic?
Recently, leading financial observer Raoul Pal was on a podcast discussing his feelings along with some additional considerations with James Connor of Blood Street Capital. Therefore, he said Bitcoin’s set for a big year for three key reasons:
- More money in the system – Bitcoin’s price could rise, according to pal, due to an increase in global liquidity (the amount of money in financial markets).
- Bitcoin has matured – However, Pal believes the market is more stable than Bitcoin’s past years when their price was highly volatile and there were no Bitcoin ETFs and serious investors.
- Politics is on Bitcoin’s side – Now that Donald Trump could come back to serve as U.S. President, people think that Bitcoin would receive more political support, and as a result, have more flexible regulations.
How High Could Bitcoin Go?
By the end of 2025, Pal outlined three possible scenarios for Bitcoin’s price.

- Best case: It would shoot up past $500,000 if it went up like it did in 2017.
Will There Be Drops Along the Way?
Bitcoin’s price could fall 35% to 45% more than once before capitalism brings the new highs, Pal warned. In other words, if Bitcoin reaches $100,000, it may very well drop down to $70,000 and then rise back to the hyperbolic price again. In his advice, he warns traders against risking money on trades which involve borrowing money yet known as using leverage.
